(Re-)Discover the Appreciative Inquiry in the light of shifting Paradigms
We all talk about the paradigm shift, but what is that actually and how can we contribute to it in a constructive and appreciative way?
A paradigm shift, a concept identified by the American physicist and philosopher Thomas Kuhn, is a fundamental change in the basic concepts and experimental practices of a scientific discipline.
And even though he explicitly puts this definition in the context of science, I think you can see, just like me, the parallels to what we see happening around us in different spheres.
- Whether we look at our global money system with the rising of alternative currencies and the blockchain technology,
- the dissolving of traditional hierarchies and
- the herewith connected challenges around how we live and work together (just dropping the keywords of diversity, equity and inclusion), both in organizations and the larger societies,
we’ll find plenty of major shifts happening in parallel.
Now you can just swim with the current and get surprised by how these developments will effect you and your business. Or you can level up you thoughtleadership.
In my new online programme that will start end of August we’ll do exactly that.
If you want to get a taste of what you can expect you can join me at the 24th of June for a free workshop on the Constructionist Principle of appreciative inquiry in the light of shifting paradigms.
